Food is amazing and the service was above in some areas and below in others.... The waitress was super friendly and helpfull but forgot some of our order and still charged us. If I had my glasses I would have noticed the extra charges but alas I did not. So I paid a lot for alittle.

We love this place! We come here to watch our favorite local singer and guitarist, Billy Reese, on Thursday evenings. Their pizza is AWESOME and we get the Bucket of Suds (5 beers for $20) every time! The ambiance and staff are great too; especially Janine!

Stopped by Davenport Roadhouse Saturday afternoon. We were at Bean Hollow flying kites and needed some lunch. It was breezy and foggy, but the patio was open and there was a roaring fire in the large fireplace. It was warm and cozy, but also sunny and summery. As only coastal CA can be. There was a singer/guitarist, who played and sang oldies the entire time we were there. And at one point a woman came up (seemingly a patron), and sang along. The singer took this in stride and soon they sang together a little. The whole thing seemed organic. We ordered a pizza (half sausage/half pepperoni), a beet salad, and a cobalt burger. All were very good. The iced tea came with refills, so a bonus! It was expensive, but no more than I expected to pay in a coastal restaurant. Loved the small area with merchandise, too.

I frequent Davenport Roadhouse for their taco Tuesday! $5 gets you an order of two street tacos. Choices are: veggie, grilled cod, grilled chicken, or carnitas. I think they're all super tasty! The cod always tastes fresh and it's never dry. They do a great job with their pickled cabbage. I haven't tried that many other things from the menu, but I do love their deep fried pickle appetizer. Yum! I hope to come for a few of their other nightly specials. They have a $5 street burger deal, and a $5 street pizza night. Servers have always been attentive and very friendly. There is usually live music!

We had a great time. Our food was good (make sure to order the Cobb salad if you Iike that - one of the best we've had!). There was live music playing which was also a nice touch. This place is located right on the pacific coast highway 10 miles north of Santa Cruz so if you are driving it, stop in for a good experience.

Oh my, loved it here! The ambiance is modern and lovely, and the live music is great! The food is delicious and the portions are huge. We came in very hungry and still had to go to go boxes home. The service is great, the waiters have great recommendations and made our brief meal fun and memorable. Bonus: the little gift shop has lots of cool stuff!

Live music this Sunday Father's Day. Nice casual place with indoor and outdoor seating. Some repairs still going on in June 23. Decent prices for coastside. Park on the street. I had the fish tacos, the fish was fresh. Next time I would visit their coupled with a trip to Bonnie Doon winery
